Little four-month-old kitten Lofty was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, an incurable neurological condition that causes his head to involuntarily wobble. He arrived at Battersea’s London centre with his two siblings when he was only seven weeks old. Despite his condition, Lofty is in no pain and proved himself to be a bundle of positive energy during his time at Battersea.
Lofty spent some time in a dedicated foster home with Roxy, who works at Battersea, and started fostering cats because she wasn't in the position to rehome a cat permanently but wanted to still be able to help cats. She has since fostered over 70 cats, including Lofty the wobbly cat.
Roxy said, "Knowing that you had a hand in helping the cats and watching them blossom into confident cats and kittens who are ready for rehoming is one of the most fulfilling things ever."
