Lovely Rita came to Battersea due to a change of her owner’s circumstances and through no fault of her own. When she first arrived, she was initially worried by her new environment and needed plenty of love and care to help her relax and show off her sociable personality.
Our dedicated team soon discovered that Rita was deaf and knew she would need a patient owner who could take the time to accommodate to her needs and build a strong bond with her.
Luckily the perfect home was just around the corner, and it was love at first sight for Sophie from London. It didn’t take Rita long to make herself at home and she quickly befriended their resident tabby cat, Clark. Sophie tells us the pair are now inseparable, spending their time cuddled up for long naps.
