Sylvester was brought in to Battersea by a member of the public who knew him as a local stray cat, who became concerned as he was looking very skinny and winter was approaching. As a stray, Sylvester was was understandably very worried when he arrived, only venturing out at night to eat.
Over time he began to come out in the daytime, though, he was still quite upset and confused and wasn't quite ready to make friends just yet.
By week two, Sylvester really came out of his shell, however, and would sit at the front of pen and sing for food, and became a firm favourite among the cattery team. Once he gained his confidence back, Sylvester wasted no time in finding his new home, and has picked out a favourite spot on the sofa.
