This Valentine’s Day, Battersea is playing Cupid for two irresistible dogs searching for their special someone. Romeo, a striking Pomsky who has been waiting for over 230 days to find his perfect match, and Valentino, a loveable Greyhound who has spent 129 days at the charity’s Old Windsor Centre, are ready to make someone fall head over heels.
Romeo, a 3-year-old Pomsky, is full of personality and charm. This fluffy Casanova has a playful spirit and a distinctive look that turns heads wherever he goes. His foster carers adore him, describing him as “utterly charming” and full of fun. He loves a fuss and enjoys playing games with his toys, often spinning in delight when he’s happy. When he’s not showing off his comedic side, he can be found snoozing contentedly while his carers work from home.
Since being on foster, Romeo has blossomed, proving himself to be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home. He’s now hoping to find an experienced owner who can offer him the structure, love, and understanding he needs to truly thrive.
While Romeo enjoys the comforts of a foster home, Valentino, a 4-year-old Greyhound, is still waiting for his chance to find love. This affectionate and energetic boy is always seeking attention and cuddles, greeting everyone with his wagging tail and enthusiastic charm. He loves exploring the great outdoors, chasing toys, and curling up in cosy spots to relax after an exciting day.
Valentino was a bit worried when he first arrived at Battersea but with time and the care of his dedicated team, he has become much more settled, and is looking for a patient owner who can help him adapt to home life at his own pace.
Tracey Curren, Rehoming and Welfare Manager at Battersea Old Windsor, says: “Romeo and Valentino have both spent months in our care, and during that time, our dedicated teams have showered them with love and attention, helping them to flourish and grow in confidence. Romeo has truly blossomed in his foster home, and Valentino has made great progress with us, showing his sweet and affectionate nature. Now, they’re both ready to find that special someone to love them in their new homes. This Valentine’s Day, we hope their matches come along to give them the love story they both deserve.”
Both Romeo and Valentino are looking for someone to fall in love with them this Valentine’s Day. They are available for rehoming now at Battersea Old Windsor. To find out how you can make their Valentine’s Day dreams come true, find out more on the Battersea website.
