More about ANGUS

Angus is a lively and exuberant Pug cross who enjoys spending time with his favourite people here at Battersea Old Windsor.

Angus is looking for new owners that are willing to take on a project dog. He does require additional training in a number of areas and will need owners that have experience dealing with more complex behaviours.

Angus needs some work around being handled as he can find this uncomfortable and will need to wear a muzzle when going to the vets. He does enjoy a general fuss with people he knows however he can sometimes lightly mouth so isn’t one that will enjoy lots of hands on fuss all of the time.

Angus loves playing with his toys, especially tennis balls and soft squeaky ones. Sometimes he can find toys and food too exciting and has displayed resource guarding behaviour around these items.

Angus has found being in busy households overwhelming and is looking for a quiet home in a location away from busy roads and built up areas. We know that Angus isn’t comfortable around children, so he will need to live in an adult only household and one without regular visiting children.

He is looking to be the only dog in his new home as he has shown some intolerance towards them and prefers his own space. He can interact with calmer, independent dogs but new owners should not force him to interact with dogs if he chooses not to.

Angus is a quirky boy with a fun personality who loves interacting with his favourite people. He also does a great smile!

Angus is work in progress but will be a rewarding project, if you are interested in rehoming him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.

If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.
