More about BARBARA ANN

***If you have not yet registered to rehome, please do so on our website here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming, before contacting us about a specific dog.***

Sweet Barbara came to Battersea due to a change in her owners circumstances and through no fault of her own.

Since coming into Battersea, Barbara has shown to be a very sensitive soul. She has been worried of most things, such as new people, handling and when out on walks. However, each day Barbara is here and finding her feet, we're seeing a really nice progression with her confidence building. Barbara does have a goofy, playful side to her and she does love to stretch her legs in zoomies fashion when in paddocks with her bonded people. She has also shown a nice affectionate side to her and will curl up in her peoples lap for some hands on fuss.

Barbara has been quite a worried girl when meeting dogs on lead, she is very tailtucked and has a lower body posture. However after a few greets with another dog and when offlead with them...She is a very playful girl! She does very enthusiastic playbows and zooms when offlead. She will need new owners who are confident to continue building up her confidence (especially in on-lead situations) when around other dogs in neutral spaces outside of the home.

Barbara will need experienced dog owners who are patient and understanding during her settling in period. Giving her all the time and space she needs to settle in and bond with her new family. Once bonded they are in for a lifetime of cuddles!

If you think Barbara might just be the missing piece to your puzzle, please contact our London team at rehoming@battersea.org.uk.

Please note that due to the large volume of enquiries we receive, we will ONLY be able to respond to homes that we feel best meet the needs of the dog.
