More about BEAR
Meet Bear – a sweet, sensitive soul with a heart full of love and loyalty to give. Bear came into our care through no fault of his own, after his previous owners could no longer care for him. Previously described as an affectionate and playful boy, Bear is now thriving in a foster home where he's shown just how clever, aware, and gentle he can be.
A classic Shepherd at heart, Bear is vocal on first greetings and may try to herd, but once comfortable, he displays lovely social manners and enjoys the company of other dogs. He recently made friends with a poodle and simply wanted to rest his head on her – a perfect example of his soft nature. He has also lived happily with another dog in the past.
Bear can be unsure around loud noises and formal handling, such as vet visits, so he’ll need patient owners who can understand his signals and respect his need for space when he asks for it. He's looking for an experienced home, preferably with Shepherd knowledge, where both his brain and body will be kept engaged.
Though sensitive, once Bear feels safe and settled, he promises to be the most loving, loyal companion. If you're ready to give this sweet boy the calm, understanding home he deserves, Bear is ready to give you his heart.
