More about BEAU
Beau is a bright, loyal companion ready to find his forever home. He is an affectionate dog with a friendly and loving nature. He’s great with both adults and children and is sure to become a beloved member of the right family. His playful spirit and sweet personality shine through once he feels comfortable, and he loves nothing more than a fun game with his toys and some tasty treats.
As a typical Spitz, Beau enjoys expressing himself and can be quite vocal – he’s the kind of dog who loves to chat! He does not like being left alone, so will need very minimal leaving. Because of his vocal side, he may not be suited flats or apartments where his enthusiastic voice could disturb close neighbours. Experienced owners, especially those familiar with Spitz breeds will truly appreciate his character and charm.
Beau has shown promising social skills with other dogs, but he still needs guidance to improve his manners with some dogs. He can come on a little strong at first, so we recommend he be the only dog in the home for now while he continues to learn and gain confidence. Once he settles, he enjoys a good play session with his doggy friends.
Beau is looking for a calm, understanding family who will continue his training at home with patience and consistency. With the right support, we believe he will blossom into an all-round great and loyal companion. He’s already shown us glimpses of his enormous potential – he is incredibly playful and thrives when given love and structure.
He can at times get frustrated in busier or noisy areas, so he will benefit from quieter walking routes while he builds up his focus.
Beau is waiting patiently for a family who see the special boy that we see every day. If you would like to know more about him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
