More about BLANCHE

Blanche is a lovely young Labrador with plenty of personality. She is based at our Battersea Old Windsor centre. If you are interested in her, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Blanche is a very energetic dog looking for owners that want to take on an active young dog that will need some ongoing training. She came into our care as a stray so unfortunately we have no prior information on her. All training starting from the beginning will need to be undertaken in her new home.

She is getting used to handling, such as her harness and lead going on, as well as being checked by the vets. She gets overwhelmed becoming bouncy and then demonstrating mouthing behaviours, she has been doing well with training but she is looking for a home with adults or older teenagers so all the family can be involved in her training.

Toys are the love of Blanches life; she will greet everyone with a toy in her kennel and will play and play. She could be of working line, but we are not able to confirm this. She would thrive with some extra curricular activities such as flyball, agility or scent work.

Blanche could possibly live with another dog in the home, however she is very playful enjoying a wrestling playstyle that won't suit all dogs. An existing dog would need to enjoy engaging in this playstyle and cope with an energetic, bouncy young dog.
