More about BRUM
Meet our lovely Brum!
He is a Belgian Shepherd and was found as a stray with his sibling, meaning we have no information on his life before arriving at Battersea. The two were separated upon arrival, and both appear to be adjusting well on their own.
Brum has been a bouncy boy with a juvenile side to him becoming quite mouthy at times (typical of his breed). As a typical young Shepherd, he will need plenty of training put in place so he can grow into a well rounded adult. When seen around another dog, he demonstrated sociability and playfulness with a larger, energetic breed, quickly gaining confidence and showing some good social skills.
Belgian shepherds are high energy dogs, who need a lot of mental and physical stimulation so the breed should not be taken lightly. Though Brum has shown to be a little more laid back, his breed traits could still shine through as he grows and matures.
Brum would best thrive in an active home where he can go on long walks, and indulge in agility and obedience training. New owners must have some prior experience or a really good understanding of the breed and what comes with them. Brum would require a spacious home with a private garden where he could potentially share spaces with another dog friend if the right match for him. He is sure to be the most loving boy in any home lucky enough to have him!
