More about BUDDY

Buddy is a sweet and sensitive spaniel who can take time to build trust and bonds with people. Once he has made friends however, he is affectionate and goofy! Buddy loves to run around our paddocks and play with his toys.

Buddy is looking for new owners who have experience with worried dogs and understand how to sympathetically and appropriately socialise him and manage him. He needs to live in an all adult household in a quieter location, and will need a private garden for house training reminders and his recall training. Buddy can be unsure of more formal aspects of handling and will need to be muzzled for vet visits - we have started this training here and Buddy wears his muzzle well. Our Rehoming team will go through all necessary ongoing training and can give further advice to any potential new owners at point of intro.

Buddy will thrive in a calm household with active owners who are able to meet his needs and who will take the time to understand him and boost his confidence around other dogs and new people. Buddy does need a slow and patient approach, but we are confident that with the right people and in the right environment this golden boy will flourish.
