More about BUMBLE
Bumble is an exuberant young Crossbreed who is looking for a very experienced home that can take him on long walks and guide him through his adolescent years. Bumble is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.
Bumble is a bundle of energy and we believe that he is a Husky mix so is very energetic and strong on the lead. Bumble will be a training-project for his new owners - he has a number of areas of training that will need managing including resource guarding around toys and food, handling and vet visits and his interactions with other dogs.
He loves his toys, especially balls, and these can keep him occupied and help with his training, however he will guard his toys around people and his owners will need to carefully and sensibly manage this at home.
Bumble is looking to be the only dog in his new home as he can be a bit over the top with other dogs and does need to work on his socialisation.
Bumble knows a “sit” and a “paw” and has shown to be housetrained in kennels however he may need some reminders as he settles into his new home. Bumble is incredibly intelligent and needs to use his brain - without constructive input he will find his own amusement so his owners will need to work hard to channel his desire to be busy.
We know that Bumble doesn't like being left on his own so he is looking for new owners that are around most of the time and can build up his time alone gradually.
Due to his training needs and energy levels, he does need a home with his own private and secure garden.
Bumble is an work in progress but will be a rewarding project, if you are interested in rehoming him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.
