More about ELLA

Ella, who is based at Old Windsor, is a big-hearted dog with a cautious side, especially around unfamiliar men. This charming girl is all about toys and treats! They have been great motivators in her training journey, helping her build her confidence.

Whilst she adores gentle attention from people she knows, Ella can be a bit wary around new people. She’ll need an understanding owner who can give her the space and time she needs to warm up and feel secure.

Ella has a lot of different doggy friends here at Battersea. Although she can be slightly worried with the initial interaction, once she has come out of her shell she is happy to interact and go on walks with them. We feel Ella could live with another laid back dog who can offer gentle play and also read her when she is happy to have her own space.

Car journeys are a little stressful, though she is making strides with her training. Her new owners will need to continue helping her with this. She ideally needs a home where daily car travel isn’t necessary. Ella would love to be with experienced owners who can keep up her training and build on the great progress she has made. She responds really well to people she feels connected to. With some encouragement, a loving home and patience, Ella is sure to blossom and build confidence with her new family.

One of Ella’s most endearing qualities is her wiggly bottom! She has charmed everyone with her sweet, quirky personality. We’re sure that once settled, Ella will bring endless joy and companionship to her forever family.
