Meet lovely Fiona!

Fiona is a gorgeous young Malinois cross who arrived at Battersea along with her littermates.

Fiona has shown herself to be a worried little soul, particularly in new situations. It took her a few days to find her feet in kennels and new owners will need to be prepared to give Fiona a settling in period in her new home, taking things at her own pace.

Whilst she has shown steady improvement on site, she still can be worried around handling. However, she does love a good cuddle with her known handlers and will seek out fuss from her people, even when feeling worried.

She is currently quite nervous of dogs, and although she seems keen to play at times, she can also get too scared and will choose instead to hide with her handlers or behind any plant pot big enough! New owners should be confident and committed to working with her comfort levels around other dogs, so that she can enjoy socialising and play.

Fiona is looking for new owners with previous experience of high energy breeds, who have the time, love and patience needed to help draw Fiona out of her shell, exposing her to the world at a gradual pace to help her become the well rounded, social, happy dog we know she can be!
