More about GIGI
Gigi is a charming and affectionate girl. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
She does have a very sensitive side to her character and is not comfortable with some aspects of handling, or people being near her food, so she needs to live in a home with adults only.
Gigi has shown to be very playful and interactive with toys and enjoys playing with her favourite people. She enjoys playing with a variety of toys, but, her favourite toy is a squeaky ball.
She does struggle to make friends and has been more worried of men and does take time to come around. She will need slow introductions and to go at her pace. Gigi is really affectionate once she feels confident with you and sometimes tries to be a bit of a lap dog too. As she is a bit of an anxious dog, she'd really benefit from a calm, stable routine at home with not too many people coming and going.
Gigi lacks confidence with dogs and has shown to be worried and she prefers not to interact with them, due to this, she is looking to be the only dog in the home.
She is a very bright dog and has a number of tricks mastered already, including - Sit, wait, leave, here, come, bed.
Gigi is looking for owners who have experience of anxious and worried dogs dogs, as she does have some on-going training needs. Gigi does have some medical needs, so anyone looking to rehome Gigi will need to speak to a Battersea vet before rehoming her.
If you are interested in rehoming her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.
Please note, due to the high volume of enquiries we are receiving, we will only be in touch if Gigi looks to be a possible match for you.
If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming. Thank you.
