More about HOMER
Homer is a charming and affectionate young dog who is ready to find his forever home. He spent the early part of his life in kennels with his litter mates after coming to us from another rescue. While his upbringing has left him needing some extra guidance, Homer is eager to learn and adapt with the right support.
Because he has spent most of his life in kennels, Homer will require patience as he learns to adjust to a home environment. Like many young dogs, he occasionally had minor squabbles with his litter mates over food or attention.
Continued careful socialisation will be key for him as he matures. Homer will need a home out of the inner city with quiet walking routes whilst he works on his training around dogs, and will require new owners willing to set him up for success with the right training.
Homer's ideal family will have experience with lively, excitable young dogs and a willingness to invest time, patience, and love into helping him thrive. With the right guidance, Homer has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and wonderful companion.
If you think that Homer might just be the companion you are searching for, then please contact the Rehoming team in London at rehoming@battersea.org.uk, providing an overview of your previous experience with dogs and current set up.
If you have not registered to rehome with us yet, please do so on the Battersea website here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming before getting in touch.
Due to the volume of enquiries we expect to receive, we will only be able to respond to the most suitable homes.
