More about JASPER

Jasper is a super sweet Lurcher who came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. When he arrived, he had an injured leg that unfortunately had to be amputated, but Jasper is adjusting very well to life on three legs and can still get up quite a bit of speed!

Though he is a bit of a worried dog and takes longer to trust people, his gentle and affectionate nature shines through, and he has been incredibly tolerant of clinical procedures throughout all his treatments.

Whilst being here Jasper's confidence has grown and grown, he started off worried meeting new dogs but now is a lot more confident and excited to meet new dogs, he has shown that with the right match, he can make friends and wants to play.

He is looking for a patient, understanding home, ideally with someone who has experience with rescue Lurchers and is willing to invest the time to help him build trust and confidence while not putting too much pressure on him. Jasper has so much potential to flourish in a loving environment.

If you think that you have what Jasper needs, then please contact the Rehoming team in London at rehoming@battersea.org.uk. If you have not yet registered to rehome, please do so on our website here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming, before contacting us.

Please note that due to the large volume on enquiries we receive, we will ONLY be able to respond to homes we feel best meet the dog's needs.
