Meet this little shy little sweetheart, Jazz!

Little Jazz originally came to Battersea when his owner sadly passed. He was rehomed through us but due to an unforeseen change in his owners circumstances, he has returned and is now searching for his forever home again!

Jazz generally has a lovely history in his previous home with his people, and is clearly a sensitive soul with a worried side to him, who can be very wary of strangers. While quite the cuddle bug once he knows you and has chosen to curl up on your lap, this will take time and new owners will need plenty of patience and respect for his space.

Jazz was not used to being walked on a lead and was carried everywhere. He will require dedicated owners who are willing to put in consistent training in a new home to get him regularly walking on lead. He will need a private garden where he can continue learning to walk on a lead without distractions or pressure.

Jazz is very much more into his people than other dogs, he can be avoidant of dogs and will need new owners who will continue to build up his confidence to them and to the big wide world in general. He will be best suited to a home with no other dogs. He could potentially live with sensible teens, provided they understand to take a slow & steady approach and don't rush him.

Jazz is a quirky little character who will give someone a lot of joy with his funny little ways when settled. Once bonded, he loves a good play with his people and wants nothing more than to be held in somebody's arms.
