More about KOBA
Koba is a charming Rottweiler cross Akita who is based at our Old Windsor site. True to his breed he is laid back and independent but has an affectionate nature especially with people he knows well.
In his previous home Koba was settled and well behaved, and he has some good basic training in place; he knows sit and paw, is housetrained and travels well in the car.
He loves going for walks and splashing in muddy puddles. He doesn’t often pull on the lead, and he is happy to walk along right by your side, stopping for sniffs along the way.
He’s playful and particularly likes tug of war games with raggers and squeaky toys.
Koba is generally independent around other dogs, however he does occasionally show his playful side, but he can also prefer his space when on walks so he’s not always a social butterfly. He can sometimes show some chase drive towards smaller dogs or wildlife so would love his own garden where he can have some off lead exercise and then enjoy varied on lead walks.
Koba has won the hearts of the staff here – although he can take a little time to show his affection, it’s well worth the wait and he’s a gentle dog who will be brilliant company in his new home.
