More about LILA

Lila is sweet dog that has made great bonds with our staff here at Old Windsor, we are sure she will become a cherished member of the family with some time.

Lila has come from a home where she was very social with people and really enjoyed attention and company. In a kennel environment we have seen a worried side to her, where she has needed some time to build bonds with people. In a home environment again, she might return to her confident self, but it takes time to settle and we feel a quiet home set up away from an inner city would be best for Lila.

Once Lila knows you, she will try her best to a lap dog and has been known to try and help staff on the computer when working at their desks. We have also found that food especially ham has been a great love for Lila.

Lila is looking for a home with a private garden, this will allow her to have fun off lead and be a great aid while learning housetraining. It will take some time to learn recall and gain confidence walking new routes therefore a garden will be a positive place for Lila.

New owners will need to speak to a vet before rehoming Lila. She will need ongoing support as clinical handling has been stressful for her. New owners will need to feel confident in helping her through these interactions in the future.

Lila is spirited young dog and once you get to know her will make a great family companion, she just will need some time to show her cheeky personality.
