More about LUNA

Luna is a charming French Bulldog with a cheeky and mischievous character - she definitely has lots of personality to bring to her home. Luna is based at our site in Old Windsor.

Luna can find meeting new people quite worrying, but with some guidance she has made firm friends with the staff here and her confidence is slowly growing. It is important that Luna’s new family are able to read dog body language and ideally have some knowledge of more worried dogs as her reactions, and how people greet her, will need to be managed correctly. Her owners will need to go at her pace and not let her get in situations that may make her feel uncomfortable.

Luna’s potential new owners will need to be able to work with some resource guarding she has shown with long lasting chews and her favourite toys. Treats, however, are the way to Luna’s heart, we have found them useful when introducing her to new people.

At times, Luna can lack confidence around dogs and will need some guidance and support around this going forwards.

In her previous home she would would happily snore the day away in her cosy bed.

With time, patience and correct guidance, Luna will make a wonderful pet dog.
