Meet our delicious girl, Martha!

Martha came to Battersea via another rescue. She is a "Cavapoo" which is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Poodle.

Martha is quite a worried, anxious girl and has found kennel life stressful. She can make friends quickly but is much more wary of men. She has growled at male members of staff and has shown some resource guarding behaviours which new owners should be confident to work on. She could live with children 13 and up who can give her space when needed.

Martha has some separation anxiety in kennels, including some vocalisation, She loves her people and just wants to spend time with them. She will need a new home with limited leaving hours where owners are able to build this up gradually.

Our gorgeous Martha will need a multi carer home, with owners who can work on her anxious behaviour and build her confidence and independence.. She may take a while to come out of her shell but she is well worth the wait. Given the chance she will become a great addition to any family ready to take her on.
