More about PIA

Pia is bright young dog looking for her forever home to be the centre of attention and have a soft bed to snooze in.

Pia has a very loving side and made great friends with staff here at Old Windsor, becoming a frequent visitor to the office to see everyone. But Pia does have a worried side and needs slow exposure to new things in a home.

A quiet home where she can blossom and show off her bubbly personality would be best for Pia. When first arriving at Battersea Old Windsor she took time creating bonds with people, of course it was a big change for her. New owners will need to help Pia through potentially stressful times like meeting people or visiting the vets.

She gains a lot of comfort from her bonded people so it will be really important her new owners are experienced owning dogs and reading their body language to help her through worrying times.

A private garden will be needed for Pia in her new home, when she gets going her zoomies are hilarious and its clear she is having a lot of fun. A garden will be a great place to be off lead and find her feet away from the outside world.

Pia has lived in a home before where she was housetrained, able to be left for short periods and described as loving cuddles. It will take time for her to adjust but she has great basic training in place.

Pia is still working on socialising with other dogs, she is keen to meet but can be worried when greeting. She is looking to be the only dog in the home to settle in and build bonds. Working on making dog friends out of the home, at her own pace will be important for Pia and to not do too much too soon.

Pia will make a wonderful family pet, she has a big personality and we are only seeing the start of it here.
