Red is a sweet, sensitive soul who’s ready to start the next chapter of her life with someone who truly understands her. After coming to Battersea through no fault of her own, Red has begun to leave her difficult past behind and is showing us every day what a truly special dog she is.

Life didn’t give Red the best start. She was raised in a home with many other dogs, where her needs were overlooked and she didn’t get the chance to see much of the world. Understandably, she arrived a little underconfident and unsure. But with time, care, and patience, she’s been steadily coming out of her shell. She’s started to enjoy her time outside, especially when supported by kind, understanding dogs, and is learning to take the world in stride.

Red has shown herself to be affectionate with staff and has displayed lovely social skills with other dogs. She’s still young and at that perfect age to soak up everything she learns. With gentle guidance and consistent training, she’ll continue to build confidence and flourish.

As a Malinois, Red has all the brilliant energy and intelligence the breed is known for. She’ll need a home that can offer her the mental and physical stimulation she craves, but also the calm, quiet environment that will help her feel safe. Ideally, she’d love a spacious garden where she can explore and decompress at her own pace.

Red is looking for an experienced or breed-savvy owner, or someone willing to learn, who can give her the time, structure, and love she needs to grow into the amazing companion she’s meant to be.
