More about REGGIE

Reggie is spirited dog that loves the best of both worlds, running around with his toys and then leaning on you for plenty of fuss and affection when he’s tired.

Reggie is based at our Old Windsor Centre, we have discovered he is a keen water dog and has been enjoying dipping in our paddling pools. He's even tried swimming in the shallow end of the river on a long walk with our staff.

Reggie is a charming dog and has made friends with our staff here quickly. He has shown some strong barrier reactions, struggling when new people are outside his kennel. This will be something to be managed in a home when people come to the door, as this could be a stressful event for Reggie especially when settling in.

Reggie is looking for owners that are experienced with Rottweilers or other similar guarding breeds. He will need owners that are confident handling a larger dog in the home.

He is looking for a home with adults only, this way everyone can be involved in Reggie’s care and training. Reggie has good basic training in place such as ‘sit’, ‘paw’ and he has been housetrained in kennels, but he might need some reminders in a new environment.
