More about ROY

Meet our beautiful Roy, he came to us as a stray so unforturnaly we don't have a lot of history.

Roy has showed to be true to his breed, he will need some ongoing work around formal handling but is a real gent and was quick to bond with his handler. Just go at his pace, and he’ll shower you with love.

Roy can get excited when passing other dogs on lead, as he really wants to meet them all. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and has some lovely social skills.

Roy was clipped by a car before coming to Battersea. Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt, but he's a little cautious around loud vehicles. While he can still be a bit wary of traffic, he's been doing great on and off-site, and is gradually becoming more relaxed.

He needs a family with experience of his or very similar breeds. Most importantly, Roy has a sensitive side, and his new family will need to be patient and understanding. Roy may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll be your best friend for life.
