More about RUE

Rue is an adolescent Bull Breed, who is learning what good manners are. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in Rue, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk

She is a shy girl when she first meets you, but she can make friends if you take a slow, gentle approach, and offer her a treat. Once she has made friends with you, Rue enjoys having a fuss and will reach up to get fuss.

Rue is a real water baby and loves to spend her time splashing about in a paddling pool or any water she can find. Her favourite thing is to dive in and out the water, especially if there are tennis balls, she can try to fish out, it’s very entertaining to watch her have so much fun

Rue doesn't know her size and strength currently and when she gets excited can become over stimulated. She has been working on this here at Battersea Old Windsor but will need this continuing in her new home. She can shows mixed emotions, over excitement, fear, worry and will need patient new owners who are prepared and have the time to continue her training.

At this moment in time, Rue is looking to be the only dog in the household as she is still gaining confidence and learning how to interact with other dogs. With the dog friends she has made, she does enjoy playing in a typical Bull breed fashion. She would benefit from having some steady walking friends who will tolerate her playstyle

Rue loves to play with toys and her favourites are currently tennis balls and soft toys. She is often spotted in kennel throwing her toys about and keeping herself entertained.

Rue is a bright girl that will bring lots of love and happiness to an adult only home that is looking for plenty of training.
