More about SCHNITZEL
Schnitzel is a shy but gentle and loving Miniature Poodle who loves to spend time with his favourite people enjoying a calm fuss. Schnitzel is located at our Old Windsor Centre. If you are interested in him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk. or call 01784 494443.
Schnitzel has spent some time in a temporary foster home and loves to cuddle up next to his foster carer. He enjoys playing with his toys, bouncing after them and he is always wagging his tail.
Schnitzel is a social butterfly and has been able to make friends with everyone he has met so far at Battersea Old Windsor. Once he knows you, you have a friend for life and he loves nothing more than being in your company. He does not like being on his own and does have a tendency to form very strong bonds with one person at home, which can result in him getting distressed if they leave. He will need owners who are at home to keep him company, and be realistic about the fact that he may never be able to be left for long.
He is friendly when greeting other dogs but does not enjoy sharing his space or attention, so needs to live as the only dog in his new home. However he'll enjoy going for walks with other calm dogs.
Schnitzel does have limited eyesight and new owners will need to speak to a Battersea vet before rehoming him.
Due to some worry shown in busier locations, Schnitzel would be looking to live away from the inner city as he can find more built up areas overwhelming and spook at loud noises. Also with having limited sight, he would benefit from living in a quiet location with minimal obstacles.
Schnitzel is a laidback boy who would make an excellent companion for owners who can give him the attention he loves. If you would be interested in rehoming him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming before getting in touch. Thank you.
