Introducing our lovable giant, Scooby!

We believe that Scooby is as a Presa Canario mix - so he is a big boy! He arrived at Battersea through the wardens, so we don’t have much history on him. Here at Battersea, we’ve seen that Scooby adores human companionship and thrives on attention, with staff members affectionately calling him a gentle giant.

Scooby has shown himself to be quite sociable, and the wardens noted that he was good with other dogs during his time with them too. However, due to the limited history of sharing spaces with other dogs and his size, he will need to be the only dog in his new home for now.

In summary, Scooby is looking for new owners who have experience with dogs like him. They should be able to manage his size, as he walks well but is still a big boy. Additionally, he will benefit from ongoing, consistent training to help him adjust to his new life and routines. With the right care, we believe this big, friendly giant will bring joy and affection to any household. He’s a playful companion just waiting for the chance to flourish in a loving home!
