More about SCOUT

Sweet Scout arrived at Battersea as a stray, so sadly we have no history for this boy in a home.

On-site we have seen a friendly boy who does have a sensitive side to him. Scout can be quite worried of new people and handling. Scout can be a little cheeky at times and can become overstimulated, he has been responsive to training around these behaviours. He will need new owners who are experienced and willing to put some training and boundaries in place, in order to set him up for success and to ensure he develops into a well-rounded adult dog.

Scout likes other dogs and does have some lovely social skills in place. He can greet friendly and can be a playful boy. He is at an age where he can get a little mouthy in his play style, which not all dogs will appreciate, so will need to be the only dog in the home at this time.

Scout really is a lovely lad! Once he comes out of his shell he has shown himself to be an excitable and affectionate boy who loves his known people. With the right training and guidance he is sure to be the most wonderful of companions and keep new owners entertained with his cheeky ways.

New owners should ideally have experience with Husky breeds and a good understanding of breed traits.
