Meet Smurf!

Smurf is our sweet and friendly Frenchie boy who enjoys spending time with people. He loves playing with toys and is particularly fond of rugby balls. Smurf came to us as a stray and we have found that he can be uncomfortable around other dogs, not really gaining much from being around them. He is not housetrained, but is starting to get a good foundation of other basics including a sit and a "let's go" cue which we have been utilising around other dogs. He also has a good response to his name.

Smurf is looking for a home in a low dog populated area. He is looking for new owners who have previous experience with dogs who show uncomfortable behaviours around other dogs. Previous experience with French Bulldogs and their difficult to read body language would also be beneficial. He will need new owners who are confident and capable to continue his training around other dogs.

Smurfs new home should be in a quiet location away from the inner city with it's own secure and private garden. He would be ok to live with a single adult carer and could also live with older children who can demonstrate calm and appropriate behaviours around dogs. Smurf will need to be the only pet in the household and is looking for new owners with minimal leaving hours.
