More about TEDDY
Teddy is an inquisitive Crossbreed that enjoys spending time with his favourite people. He is located at our Old Windsor Centre. If you are interested in him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
Teddy is a bright dog and knows a “sit” and “paw” and he loves to play with toys. He was also housetrained in his previous home and would tap on the door if he wanted to go out.
Teddy will make a great companion for someone that is looking for a training project dog. He is a very active boy and has shown some overstimulated behaviours such as mouthing and jumping up. He can be strong on lead and will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation to help him settle in the home.
He is looking for new owners that have owned dogs before and are familiar with managing different behaviours and are confident reading dogs body language. He has found meeting new people worrying and it can take him time to build bonds with people and come out of his shell. But when he does, he loves to be fussed and have affection.
Teddy really loves people once he is bonded with them and can find being on his own stressful, so is looking for new owners that have very minimal leaving hours and can build up his time alone slowly.
He can get stressed in busier environments when there is lots of people and noise around so will need to live in a quieter location with a private and secure garden.
Teddy has been friendly with other dogs and could potentially live with a mature dog that could be a nice role model for him. He has a playful side so any dog that he may live with should be happy with some play time with Teddy too.
If you feel you can offer Teddy, the training and stimulation he needs to thrive in his new home. Please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.
