More about TUNA

Beautiful Tuna, with her mesmerising blue eyes, is a stunning Husky cross German Shepherd and is the best of both breeds! Tuna adores playing with her toys and exploring our paddocks and also enjoys running around with her canine chums.

Tuna sadly was found as a stray, so we aren't too sure what her life looked like before coming into us. She has proven herself to be a wonderful companion, who is energetic and with a love for life. Tuna can find some aspects of formal handling a little overwhelming, so will need some support in this area. However, she has made great progress during her stay with us and is a quick learner who is keen to work for a tasty morsel!

Tuna loves to play with other dogs, though her play style (exuberant and energetic!) can be a little much for some and in true Husky / Shepherd style she does at times use her voice to express herself. Tuna is looking for an active new family who ideally have experience of one (or both!) of her breed types and understand the need for constructive and positive based training to continue Tuna's successes.

This pretty girl would best be suited to a home in a quieter location with her own private and secure garden. She could live with a single carer if they have low leaving hours and are able to build up the time Tuna is left alone slowly and positively. Tuna is a friendly girl and could live with older teens.
