More about WINTER

Winter is a shy and sensitive Lurcher who has plenty of love to give, once you have made friends with her. She enjoys calming hands-on interaction when spending time with her favourite people and will lean into you looking for more fuss and attention.

Winter does enjoy interacting with other dogs and gains plenty of confidence from her dog friends. She would be able to live with a calm, steady dog who won’t pester her for play and can act as a role model for her.

She will need to go to a home with a secure private garden with fencing as she can be an escape artist due to her ability to easily jump over smaller fences. Owners will need to supervise Winter's garden time while she is settling into her new home and routine.

Winter loves her food and will take treats of any value. She enjoys using food toys such as puzzle feeders for her meals which helps keep her brain busy. As she is so motivated by food, this will be a beneficial tool to use for her on going training.
