We were lucky enough to have Whiskers in our lives for almost 16 years - bringing him home from Battersea on Valentines Day 2003.

He was such a character, never afraid to make his needs known, including tapping us on the arm when he wanted a stroke.

Whiskers (known affectionately as The Whisk) loved to hop in the car and be driven round the block, whenever he heard the car door open he was in! He loved his food an had an amazing appetite often having several breakfasts before retiring to bed for the morning.

We said goodbye to Whiskers last Wednesday after a sudden decline in his health due to a tumour.
