Affectionate little Icicle sadly arrived as a stray in very poor condition, with severe fleas, patchy fur and an unusual posture. After Battersea’s skilled vets took X-rays of Icicle, they discovered that both her hind kneecaps were dislocated, which needed immediate treatment and rehabilitation. Icicle found the kennel environment stressful, and the busy roads made her tremble on walks. To help her recover, Icicle moved to a peaceful foster home where she could build strength and confidence. Thanks to your generous support, Battersea could tailor a plan just for Icicle. She quickly gained confidence, enjoying pain-free walks and cuddles.
