Aurora's Story

15 Jul 2024

Loveable Pocket Bully Aurora was brought to Battersea by a concerned member of the public earlier this year after they had spotted a man trying to give her away in a car park.

Despite only being 18 months old, our veterinary team saw physical signs that indicated that Aurora had already been bred from numerous times during her young life.

Aurora had issues with her ears and skin, and she was very sore due to having had multiple litters of puppies.

Despite her seemingly difficult life prior to coming to Battersea, those working closely with Aurora said she was a very sweet, affectionate dog.

After receiving lots of love and expert care from Battersea kennel and clinic staff, Aurora was ready to find a new home.

Aurora’s fortunes turned around when she found the perfect home on a farm on the Isle of Wight - complete with cows as her new neighbours.

Aurora’s life is now filled with affection and long walks on the beach near her new home.
